As a Perth photographer, I’m always thrilled when I get to collaborate with creative visionaries like Tiziana Battista. Recently, I had the privilege of shooting portraits for their Winter Collection, and it was a truly inspiring experience.
The shoot took place in an art museum nestled in the Perth CBD—a space that exuded elegance and character. With its high ceilings and expansive windows, the venue offered ample natural light, which I leaned on heavily to craft a soft, inviting aesthetic.
Natural light brings a warmth and authenticity to portraits that’s hard to replicate, and it perfectly complemented the textures and tones of the Winter Collection.
To add depth, I incorporated reflective light—carefully positioning reflectors to balance shadows and highlight details in the garments.
What I love most about photography is the creative challenge it offers and the chance to connect with people to bring out their best. Working with Tiziana Battista’s team was a perfect example of this. Together, we created an environment where everyone felt comfortable, and the results truly reflected their vision and personality.
Collaborating with Tiziana Battista reminded me why I love being a Perth photographer: every project is a chance to solve a creative challenge, tell stories through still images and work with amazing people. Photographers in Perth Australia | Sam Irwin Media View Photography Portfolio
