About Sam Dylan Irwin
Sam Dylan Irwin studied cinematography under the award-winning Denson Baker ASC (Oranges and Sunshine & The Waiting City) while also studying Natural History Film-making at Otago University.
I have over 15 years experience in human-centered storytelling, documentary, film photography and branding.
I've worked as a professional director of photography for major brands, I've had films screen at international festivals, worked as a still photographer for EMI shooting imagery for top-ten bands, while also offering brand video strategy advice to government initiatives such as Brand Tasmania and Flourish.
My strength is in my ability to manage a project from start to finish, from filming to post-production.
After practicing meditation for over 10 years, I am able to operate with a level of understanding, integrity and trust while doing what I love to do, which is capturing beautiful images and ensuring the end result will make the client happy.
